Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mufasa is a handsome, calm and well-behaved, five-year-old, male brindle and white Mastiff/Pit-mix looking for a loving guardian.
Mufasa was found stray in Chicago, oddly, lying on a blanket in the middle of a city street. A dog-lover moved the blanket to an abandoned lot and Mufasa followed. Caring passers by earned Mufasa’s trust by feeding the hungry boy cheeseburgers and brought him to Chicago Animal Care and Control.
He was then transferred to the Animal Care League and is now healthy and ready for a loving home. Mufasa loves going on walks. He would love a guardian who will take him to training class and teach him new things. He will thrive as the only pet in the home.
He is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested and micro-chipped. To meet and possibly adopt Mufasa, please visit the Animal Care League shelter at 1011 Garfield, Oak Park, Illinois, Monday, Thursday & Friday from noon to 7:00 p.m. or Saturday & Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. His adoption fee of $150 benefits the rescued pets of the Animal Care League.
