Kona's Story...
Kona's Story...

Meet Kona! An animal advocate posted Kona's picture on Facebook pleading for a rescue to save her from her situation. Her original owners moved off and left her and to keep her from roaming the neighborhood someone nearby kept her on a chain in their yard(pictured)...obviously not ideal for a sweet puppy. Kona's picture and story stole out hearts and we took her into our rescue. Kona is 3-4 months old and the happiest baby you have ever met. Kona is being fostered with other dogs and adores them. She loves attention from them and loves to play. Kona will be a big girl when fully grown. Although we don't know Kona's ancestors for sure, we do know this- she has the most gorgeous eyes, is clumsy, soft and short/medium length coat, already knows sit, and picked up her name in less than 24 hours...smart girl! Kona will be fully vetted and ready to travel to Her forever home late May. Her adoption fee is $500 and includes 2 puppy vaccines, kennel cough vaccine, rabies vaccine, microchip, spay, deworming and negative fecal test, and transport from Memphis to you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kona, a Greenfield Labrador Retriever/Great Dane puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane for sale in Greenfield, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane puppy from a breeder in Greenfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greenfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greenfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Dane breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greenfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
