My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tonka Joe goes by Jazz these days. He is a handsome, intelligent, and generally well-mannered 8-9 year old Golden Retriever mix. He was relinquished by his loving family because he would dart out the front door when it was opened and often end up on busy streets. He does fine in a backyard with a 6-ft fence and loves to be outside. He knows basic commands, gets along well with other dogs and kids (although no experience with toddlers). No experience with cats, but he tends to be gentle. Jazz is about 95 pounds, and he's strong. He will pull on the leash when excited by new smells. Jazz would be a wonderful addition to a family looking for a typical Golden. He behaves younger than his years and adores people who love and play with him.
