Introducing Malachi! This poor boy was found as a stray, pacing, alone and afraid next to a zip loc baggie of dog food! Can you imagine driving away from your dog as he watched you and wondered where you are going, when will you be back? Luckily angels were near by and got him to safety! He was so scared and confused the first few days in his foster home, trying to grasp what had just happened.
Malachi is living with several other dogs, big and small, and enjoys their company. He really wants to please. He loves toys and chasing frogs and lizards in the backyard. What he wants more than anything though, is to lay his head in your lap on the couch and be petted. He will crawl right into your lap if you let him. He has big brown eyes that express so much love and appreciation it will make your heart melt. He is smart and learns with repetition. He has learned to sit on a dog bed across the room while his foster parents eat dinner and that if he does that and does not bother them, he may get a morsel when they're finished :)
Malachi is an ABD mix and about 2 years old. He weighs 53lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, dewormed and started on heartworm and flea prevention.
