Rosa's Story...
Rosa is a SRF (Single, Retired, Female) looking for a place where she can spend her golden years. Rosa's age is unknown but she is thought to be in the 8 to 10 range. Rosa is a unique dog who is mixed with Chihuahua and has lots of the Chi characteristics. For this reason, Rosa needs to go to a quiet home without children. She would also do best in a home where she can be an only pet - where she doesn't need to share affections and she can be the queen she was meant to be. Rosa loves her humans, loves to snuggle up with her fosters at night and even sleep under the covers! A perfect day for Rosa would be a couple good meals, a short walk, and hanging out on a couch or chair next to her favorite person. She has been vet checked, spayed, vaccinated, and dewormed. Call 507-451-4512 to meet Rosa in her foster home. Her adoption fee is $200. (C&AL)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosa, a Owatonna Pug/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
