Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When Grizz came to us, we really were not sure he was going to make it. He wasn't able to go to the bathroom on his own, had bloody stool and urine, couldn't stand up, and was in terrible pain with several fractures to his pelvis and leg. Even then, Grizz showed us he was a fighter. He had a great appetite and a bit of sass.
We've had Grizz for two months now and he has made excellent progress! He is able to stand up and walk around and use the litter box. Grizz loves to play with toys and has gone on several "sleepovers" with one of the vet techs at at our vet. He's had a great time and made good friends with her dog. His leg is almost healed. His pelvic bone doesn't look as good and he may need surgery at some point in the future to remove the femoral head to provide him more comfort but as of now, he does not show any signs that it is bothering him.
Despite everything he's been through, Grizz is just an awesome kitten! Grizz is about five months old and gets along great with other cats. He loves to wrestle and play with the kitten in his foster home, and running around with them helped him get stronger and heal. He needs to be adopted into a home with a playful kitty as a buddy. Grizz acts like a totally normal cat, but may have issues in the future that his adopter would have to address, such as arthritis. He's looking for an experienced cat owner who is prepared to address any future issues should there be any.
