My story

Hi, my name is Huey! I am a 12 year old boy but don't let that number scare you, I have lots of love and energy to give. My former family lost their home and left me at the shelter. I lived there for a while but then a nice lady met me and took me to my super fun foster home.
I live with other beagles in my temporary home and I like them just fine. There is also a cat here and I really haven't paid any attention to it even though it rubs against me. I would be fine being an only dog or with friends. I do like to bark a little bit so an apartment may not be a good option for me.
The big backyard has been a little scary but the other dogs have shown me that it is okay to wander around and I have been inspecting every inch, like any good beagle would do.
I do love to go on walks. Treats and toys are super-delicious, as well as paper towels and tissue. My foster mom tells me that paper products are a no-no and I am learning the “leave it” command.
