SAM - Courtesy Post's Story...
Sam was found living on the streets in Puerto Rico by some vacationers. The locals were giving him food and water, but he was in need of medical attention. He had ulcerated wounds on his hind legs, a skin infection and an eye condition. Through fundraising, Sam was able to get the medical care he needed and even a trip to NJ! Sam is now currently living with his rescuers on a temporary basis, but they are looking for a forever home for him. He loves people and is good with kids. He is a gentle and sweet boy who also shares his home with a small dog. He is believed to be between 2 and 4 years old.

Sam also has his own Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100009428675997&fref=ts

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SAM - Courtesy Post, a North Haledon American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in North Haledon, or seeking a American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in North Haledon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Haledon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Haledon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Haledon paves the way for another one to be saved.
