Rosie's Story...
Rosie would love to meet you! Rosie started out as the runt, and weakest of the three. Found on the side of the road with 2 siblings and another dog, Rosie was taken to a local shelter. When the other dog who came in with them became sick and had to be euthanized, Rosie and her sisters were put into foster care to watch for signs of illness. Amazingly, all 3 girls were healthy and it was decided that they would become our Legacy Pups. A portion of their adoption fee will be used to vaccinate animals from low income households in honor of their companion and others who have died from preventable disease. Good with Dogs, Cats and Kids. She is crate trained and house trained. Email for an application to adopt! When emailing, please include your phone number as we have recently experienced difficulty returning email inquiries to suddenlink addresses as well as a few others.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Cool Ridge Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Cool Ridge, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Cool Ridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cool Ridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cool Ridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cool Ridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
