My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

There are victories of the soul and spirit. Sometimes, even if you lose, you win. -Elie Wiesel (Nobel Peace Prize recipient 1986)
And so our girl Victory has become victorious. Ending up in a shelter can be a scary thing for a pup and unfortunately the outcome for a shelter dog depends on timing and space. In this little girl's case, she did not lose but won. Being in the shelter actually gave her a new lease on life through rescue. So yes we call this a victory all around. Victory is a beautiful tricolor (black and tan, with white boots) 20 lbs Feist. She is around 1 year old and full grown. This sweet little girl is full of energy and loves to play so an active family would be great but not necessary as she is well behaved. Victory loves to play fetch and could probably do so for hours (if your arm didn't wear out!). She is very good on leash and quite enjoys going for walks with her foster mom. Victory has wonderful house manners, and despite her energy level, she is a lady. She is potty trained by way of a doggy door, and should that not be available she let's you know when it's time to do her business. Victory is crate trained, not needed, but a wonderful learning tool for all pups. She is enjoying her time in foster and learning so many new things. She has mastered house manners and is now learning some basic commands. Victory is a very well socialized young lady who loves the company of adults, children and other dogs. Foster mom says she puts on a brave front with cats, barking bravado, but when it comes down to it...she's a bit of a scaredy dog when they approach her. So we're going to say she is respectful to those of the feline persuasion. Victory is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and current on all preventatives. She is ready for a forever and always home with a loving family who will cherish her always. Her initial predicament in a shelter environment may have seemed like a losing situation at first. However... in losing her freedom she gained her life and NEW freedom. Will you be her final victory? Will she win your heart.....forever?
