Harry's Story...
**Harry he's been already been transported from Memphis and is being fostered in Minnetonka, MN**

Named after one handsome ginger-headed, fun-loving member of the royal family, please meet Harry! Harry is an all around great dog, he loves to play with his foster brother. He loves kids and is sweet and gentle with them. We think Harry may be a Smooth Collie and retriever mix.

We rescued Harry from the high-kill Memphis Animal Services, where sadly the euthanasia rate is approaching 70%. We are so proud to have him in our rescue and can't wait to see this guy's fairy tail ending. If you are interested in Harry, please email wilsonanimalrescue@yahoo.com. Harry's adoption fee is $450 and includes his neuter surgery, microchip, vaccinations, proheart injection (6 month heart worm prevention), health certificate and transportation from Memphis to your area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harry, a Chicago Collie/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Golden Retriever for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Collie/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Collie/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
