Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Marmalade, he’s 8 months old and after living outside for the first 6 months of his life he is now enjoying the safety and security of living indoors! He was a very timid boy when he came to us, and now he is living large, playing with his toys, scampering – yes he scampers about and it’s the most adorable thing to watch! and making sure we are watching and admiring his new found skills! He has this adorable way of cocking his head as he watches a ball go round and round or a feather wiggle back and forth. He will play with his catnip mouse for hours, batting it, chasing it and carrying it around in his mouth! so darn cute
He loves other cats and would need to go to a home with another cat – or two - so that he has company and someone to play with.
He’s still very shy and will take some time to adjust to new surroundings but once he’s feeling comfortable he will be out and about talking and chirping to you about his day and to make sure you are still around! He’s not big on being held – we’re working on that - most feral born kittens don’t like to be held, a scary, not in control feeling for them, but he’s getting better and better daily at letting me hold him and snuggle and give kisses. Loves to be petted and will purr and purr long after you’ve stopped! He purrs when he’s playing also.
He loves to head butt and rub his chin on your fac. He’s really very affectionate for a boy who spent the first 6 mos of his life fending for himself and just trying to survive the winter cold. He’s a sweet boy who is now ready to find his forever home. His mom has been adopted and he needs a new playmate!
