My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi- I'm Erica! I'm approx. 2 years young (2015) and very sweet. I would love to find a calm home to call my very own and I do great with other cats and dogs too. I have been spayed, FIV/FeLv tested, FVRCP vaccine, and treated with a monthly preventative for ear mites, fleas and worms. I am litterbox/housetrained. I will be shy at first, but in a calm home with lots of love I will warm up and love to be petted and sit with you and to play with my cat toys sometimes and another cat. I love lounging in a tall cat climber or in a sunny window.

My life started out pretty tough. I was dumped in a Walmart parking lot and left to fend for myself. I didn't have any food, I was lonely, scared and terribly emaciated. I was covered in fleas too. It took 2 months, but thankfully, A4A was able to save me and help me get healthy and get all of the vetting I needed. I'm now a happy, healthy girl and I hope to find a calm, loving, patient home to call my own!

NOTE: Erica has a food allergy. She needs to eat wet and dry cat food that does not contain corn as an ingredient. She has been eating Blue Buffalo Wilderness food and has not had any allergy issues at all. We recommend keeping her on this brand of food so that she does not have any food allergy flare ups (if she has a food with corn in it, she begins to itch her fur a lot). She also requires a steroid every 4-6 weeks.
