Beaux, spelled with an X since he was born on Mardi Gras Day. His mom is a Shepherd mix, dad unknown. Beaux has a strong, independent personality, but is also a big baby, 85# big baby. His is lean and muscular and has a high activity level. He plays well with the dogs in his foster home, but his play mates need to be able to handle playing with a big dog. He is house trained and kennel trained, a smart boy that wants to please. He loves his toys and playing in his baby swimming pool. He should not be an outside only dog. With his white fur and pink skin he would sunburn easily, also he is afraid of thunderstorms.
Also available for adoption is his littermate, Praline. She has different coloring, but very similar in size and personality.

If you are interested in Beaux please go to our website, read about our adoption process and complete an application and we will contact you. Thank you.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption application helps WAG Rescue and the adopter determine what they are looking for in their future pet. It also provides background information about the potential adopter and their family. After the adoption application is received, a brief telephone interview is conducted. This is very informal. At this time arrangements will be made for the potential adopter to meet their dog of choice. If this "meet and greet" is successful the next step will be a home visit. Then, the adoption process is finalized with a formal adoption agreement.

We receive multiple applications on a dog and each application is reviewed in the order in which it was received.

WAG Rescue looks forward to meeting with you. Our goal is provide you, your family, and your future four-legged family member with the best possible tools to have a successful and fulfilling life together.

Our adoption fee is $175.
