Bambi's Story...
Bambi came to us as part of our "Magnificent Seven," a group of puppies and young dogs abandoned in an equipment yard. Bambi was quite the shy girl and has been working on her people skills. She has worked with both our local dog trainer and behaviorist and is ready to find her place. She is sweet and affectionate. She has a pronounced limp on her right front leg but it does not cause her any pain or impair her movement. After third and fourth veterinary opinions, it was decided the best thing to do for the leg is to do nothing but give her supplements. She is spayed, up to date on shots and micro-chipped. Bambi prefers a woman companion . She has a great personality and will bat her eyelashes at you when you hold her. She is interactive and intelligent. Her adoption fee is $100, please fill out an adoption application if you are interested in adopting Bambi.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bambi, a Tehachapi Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Tehachapi, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Tehachapi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tehachapi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tehachapi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tehachapi paves the way for another one to be saved.
