Sheyanne was adopted from BRLA two years ago. Her mom adored her and they were like two peas in a pod. Her mom’s parents are elderly and their health has been declining for quite some time. Unfortunately things took a turn for the worse and they were moved into a nursing home and Sheyanne’s mom spends most of her time supplementing their care at the facility. There was no one home for Sheyanne. A friend kept her for some time but it was never meant to be forever. Sheyanne has been exposed to a lot of stress but you would never know as she is calm and her nub is quick to wiggle. She is lovely with dogs her own size at BRLA. Little yappy dogs are not her favorite. All Sheyanne really needs is a stable environment with stable humans to thrive and to get out walking regularly again to drop a few pounds. This big girl is wonderful.
