My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look into my soulful eyes. You want to adopt me! Hi, I'm Ginger, and I'm a 6 year old female Hound / Pointer cross. I am good with other dogs of all sizes and ages, but i have not met cats. I walked in a Christmas parade last year, and I must say, young humans are great! Although sometimes I like to grab their mittens off their hands, I am very gentle and just want to give them kisses. I also give hugs smile emoticon Hugs are great! I really am one of the sweetest girls on the planet, and my foster mom agrees. I am pretty special! I am crate trained and house trained. Please do not push me to learn things too quickly, as my main flaw is that i have anxiety licking. I prefer to be slowly guided into the proper behaviour using positive reinforcement and a gentle person. I like to stick to a schedule, it helps with my anxiety. I am used to being fed in the afternoon/evening, just once a day. I am UTD on all of my shots, but not yet spayed due to my anxiety. I need to be spayed when I am more comfortable with my new surroundings after I get adopted. I am not perfect, but I really try hard and know that with the right forever family I will continue to blossom!!!
