"Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared." ~ Buddha
This adorable pup came to ARF as a small puppy in 2006, along with four siblings. We named her Buddha due to her pleasant demeanor and rotund, golden puppy features.... but mostly because she used to sit like a cute little Buddha. She's grown into a fine dog, fully capable of adapting to a new home and family in short order. She still rooms with her brother Jeffrey, and playfully romps with him in the play yard. She particularly loves to get under his skin by nibbling on his ankles, and this fun-loving streak demonstrates her warm personality. Buddha likes to show off her speed by chasing down tennis balls, and would do well with a family that will encourage this active demeanor in her adult years. Despite her maturity, Buddha doesn't have a ton of experience on a leash, but her clever mind and love of people should make her a quick study. This is a sweet girl with a lovely golden aura that you can sense immediately -- she needs and deserves to be out in the world, and we know the right family is waiting to share their happiness with her.
