Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sometimes life gets in the way and bad things happen to good people and
now Kia's has to find a new home. She belongs to a Handyman who does odds and ends kind of work around the Nashville, TN area. He has to move and cannot find a place that will allow him to have dogs. This generous and kind man took in this pretty girl when he found her abandoned near a job he was working on. Handyman’s Kia is a healthy 8-9 year old Yellow Lab mix girl that would do a lot better with a few less pounds. That's what happens when you share steak biscuits and dinner with your Handyman owner too often. Kia is house trained and sleeps on her dog bed at night. She doesn’t have a lot of reasons to know how to walk on a leash, but she does OK when forced to comply. She has never really gone anywhere outside the yard. The hyper puppy stage is long behind her and she will be perfect if you are looking for a calm dog to spend your easier, less active years with. She is a bit shy and does need you to approach her calmly to get to know you first. She is sharing those steak biscuits right now with her friend Spike, a Shepherd mix, and they are very happy. Kia is not very fond of cats. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
