Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Onyx! The cutest, most loving little gem of a Chihuahua you could ever hope to have snuggled up next to you. Onyx is about 5-6 years old and weighs about 11 lbs. He came to us from a kill shelter in West Tennessee and boy, is he glad to be out of that place and into a home where he is well cared for and loved. After some vet care and a little TLC, Onyx is one healthy and happy Chihuahua. Onyx gets along great with his foster brothers and sisters and can often be found cuddled up on an ottoman with them. He loves to chew on little elk antlers and chew bones, explore in the yard and work on his tan in the sun on the back porch. But Onyx’s most favorite thing to do is snuggle up on the couch with his person while you read and watch TV or sit in the back of the chair with you while you work on the computer (as he is doing right this very minute). Like many Chihuahuas, Onnie has one person in particular that he adores the most. Sometimes he is a little unsure of new people in the house and may bark at them until he gets to know them well. We think Onyx would be fine in a home with other dogs, but he would also love to be someone’s treasured, special little guy. Onyx does fine with kids, but like many Chihuahuas, he may be happiest in a home that is fairly calm and not a lot of people coming and going all of the time. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
