I’ve been waiting for my forever home since March 2015.
Jasmine is a sweet, but misunderstood, girl. She came to us as a very overweight and upset kitty. She stopped eating soon after she arrived to the shelter. With patience and trust, she began eating again and her sadness began transforming into new found hope. When she wants attention and you are not giving it to her, she will rub against your legs and meow. She is talkative and very playful with laser light toys. You can often find her in the shelter rolled over on her back, meowing with her belly exposed! With her change in diet, environment, and a more active lifestyle, she has slowly started losing weight--although, she still has a ways to go. Jasmine was surrendered to us because when the children would "play with her" she would get upset with them. We have not seen these behaviors with her around visiting children, but we still recommend for her to go to a home without small ones.
Update: Considering Jasmine's weight, we would recommend her to be on a grain free, canned food diet for the rest of her life. Currently Jasmine is eating Purina Pro Plan grain free canned food.
This kitty is currently in foster care.

As a rescue organization, we think that it is so important to ensure that all of our cats and kittens are socialized and as comfortable as possible. Shelter environments are stressful, and some cats do not fair as well as others. For this reason, a cat or kitten may be located in foster care as opposed to our other locations.
The list below includes all of the basic services that each of our cats receives:
Our adoption fee helps to offset the services that we provide for your newest furry addition. It also acts as a donation to help support our organization as a whole, allowing us to continue our efforts to rescue and re-home cats in need of our help.
Applying to Adopt
Once you and your family have spent time with the cats in the adoption room and are ready to adopt,
please visit the adoption section of our website:
Our adoption process page will provide you with all of the information you need to know about adopting through our organization, including what to expect, what information we will require from you, and finding your purrfect match.
Thank You For Choosing to Adopt!!
As a no-kill rescue, we can only bring in and save more cats and kittens in need as our current cats and kittens are adopted. This is why we say that when you adopt one cat or kitten you are actually saving TWO lives! One is the current cat or kitten that you are adopting, the second is the one that we now have room to save and place into our safe shelter.
