LaTigo's Story...
Hi there, my name is LaTigo (nickname Tigger or Tig for short) I'm an energetic 1 year old, 5 pound Chihuahua mix. I’m a friendly little guy who gets along with anybody and everybody I meet including children. I play well with all my K9 foster sibling, not sure about cats as there are none in my foster home. I'm currently in the process of outside potty training and also crate training. I like to go for walks, chew bones, give lots of kisses, as well as just chilling out in your lap or on a soft dog bed or snuggle sack. I'm a pretty quiet little boy so my new home can be just about anywhere. Right now I want to sleep with my person in the big bed so I can be close to you. Due to LaTigo’s small size he will not be placed in a home with small children. LaTigo is up to date on all shots, heart worm negative, on heart worm preventative, microchiped, de-wormed, and neutered. LaTigo’s adoption fee is $250.00. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. For events calendar and adoption application please go to our website at aaprescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LaTigo, a Bridgeton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Bridgeton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Bridgeton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bridgeton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bridgeton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bridgeton paves the way for another one to be saved.
