My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Who doesn't like a Jack-in-the-Box?

Although this guy may be a little big too be a pop-up toy, he makes everyone who meets him walk away with a BIG smile.

Jax's beginning has more mystery then a Miss Marple's novel. Jax was placed in a shelter's fenced in area one night by someone and found by the staff when they came to work one morning. Only 11 months old, Jax thought it was pretty cool to have the run of the place all to himself.
For a good year, Jax was passed by and looked over by everyone that came into the shelter. Until one of our foster Mom's saw him.

One thing for sure this guy is and that is HAPPY. He has impressive manners, he is clever, very good natured, loves children and other dogs. Some of his favorite activities is walking, hiking and swimming. Jax would make an excellent secondary dog with the right playful canine partner.
Jax loves to cuddle on your lap and watch TV, but don't tell him he's too big to sit on your lap-he won't believe you. See photo.

He is currently fostered with 2 black labs, one female and one male and everyone gets along great. Jax is not fond of cats-that may be because he does have some Pointer in him.

Jax is an American Bulldog mix, male, 62 pounds, UTD on vaccinations, neutered, housebroken and micro chipped. Because Jax loves his playtime in the yard, he MUST HAVE A COMPLETELY FENCED IN YARD.
