My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hiya everyone, my name is Comet and boy am I a cute little 2 year old. My foster mom says that I’m a really good boy but I do have a habit of taking things that don’t belong to me like shoes or toys. Really, I just like to carry them around but I may chew on them a little bit every now and then. Other than that I have to agree that I am a pretty neat-o little guy. My foster mom tells me that I was a stray and found my way to a shelter, and then it was on to AZBHR and to my current foster home. I really like it at my foster home; they have an awesome doggy door, which is great because, yes, it’s true, I’m potty trained!!!! But to be honest with you, I’m not sure what I would do without it. Oh I also have a foster brother and sister, it is great to have someone to play with and let me tell you my foster sister knows how to play. My foster siblings bark a lot but I am a pretty laid back guy and rarely ever make noise.

Since I had such a rough time there for a while I am a little on the skinny side, I weigh about 42 lbs. but I’m gaining weight everyday and will soon be just right. I do really great during chow time too, I don’t have a problem being in the same room as other pets or people while I eat and I don’t act mean or anything if someone comes near me. I was just neutered and we found out that I have Kennel Cough but I got some medicine and am already doing so much better, aren’t vets great? I also do a great job while on car rides and spend most of the ride just laying in the seat, I realize I am not the driver and I do not belong in the driver’s seat, but I will pop my head up to see the sights from time to time. Well I sure do hope I get to meet you, I know that once you meet me you will be in love
