Josie's Story...
Josie is 11 weeks old. Not only is she adorable, she is very smart. She learned steps and the doggy door in one day! I have been watching Josie this past week closely. I have suspected she is deaf, but not sure. I took her to the vet today and she just confirmed what I already knew. Little Josie is deaf. She is very smart and responsive, so I don't see a problem training her with hand signals. However, she can not hear a thing. Basically this means if you let her outside without a leash she could not hear you call her back, couldn't hear a car coming towards her, or any other danger she might encounter that she actually can not see. She is however very observant! She would have to be on a leash or at least in a fence at all times for her own protection. Adoption fee $90. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josie, a North Wilkesboro Jack Russell Terrier/American Eskimo Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/American Eskimo Dog for sale in North Wilkesboro, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/American Eskimo Dog puppy from a breeder in North Wilkesboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Wilkesboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Wilkesboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Wilkesboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
