Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please meet Dexter Ducktail! He's young, he's handsome and he's a pretty lucky boy! Just last week, he was a stray in a trailer park. He had a chain around his neck that he drug around everywhere. He was seen there for a couple weeks, hanging out, eating trash and just trying to survive. A really nice lady saw him and asked everyone who he belonged to, but no one claimed him! There were mean kids seen kicking him and throwing things at him! The nice lady got him out of there, took him home, gave him a bath and he was happy! He got along great with her children and her animals, but he was quite afraid of the dad.
Then, the best thing ever happened; the nice lady contacted DREAM and we said "Of course we want him to be a DREAM Dachsie!" And now he is! He only weighs about 13lbs, but may fill out a little now that he's eating well! He is heartworm+ because no one loved him enough to give him the all important monthly HW preventative! But you know how much we love our rescues... we're gonna get him healthy and help him find a loving home to call his own. We're thinking he might do best in a home with just ladies and kids. Dexter's his name and finding love is his game!
