Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This beautiful girl is a real head turner! Fiona, "Fi" for short, was turned in by her owner to a scary kill shelter with her beagle companion. Thank goodness both were rescued at the same time and are now on the path to better lives. Fiona is a happy, easy to please pup, as long as you like having a little shadow follow you around all day. She is a real snuggle bunny, and rolls over constantly for belly rubs, it's adorable. I have found she is quite the picky eater, even with treats, I think she was fed alot of people food, because she needs to lose about 2 pounds, then she will be at an ideal weight. Fiona likes to run around the yard, but is also good to go on a leash. This dog absolutely loves all people and approaches everyone with a wagging tail. She would not do well in a home where she would be left alone for long periods, and she definitely needs a companion dog. Fiona is a bit of an attention hog, but she is ok with sharing lap and couch space. She has learned my doggie door and will go outside in any kind of weather.
Fiona doesn't really require much other than affection from her humans; she is not in to playing with toys or chewys, she just wants to be with people, and she will gladly lay at your feet and wait patiently while you work. There is mild separation anxiety, and she will whine if I leave a room, but I think that will resolve itself once she feels settled in her forever home!
