My story

Riley is such a sweet young man, with the sweetest personality ever. It\'s impossible to understand how his owner could move away and leave Riley and his brother behind in the back yard all alone. When you first meet Riley, he is extremely timid and very shy but once he\'s had the opportunity to check you out, and he knows you are \"in to Dachshunds\", he will love nothing more than for you to give him lots hugs, belly rubs and any kind of doggie treats!

His favorite activity is chewing on his toys in addition to running around the back yard like there is no tomorrow. He loves to play with his foster siblings and is very protective of his human(s) because he has so much love for them in return for the love he so easily receives.

Riley is a beautiful longhaired black & tan boy and he\'s anxious to spend the rest of his precious life with a forever family who is looking for a lifetime of dachsie devotion! This little guy is a keeper, so apply to adopt him today!
