Smokey's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Smokey's Story...
Lou was pulled from our local animal control as an owner surrender. These dogs don't have long at the AC, because they are the first to be euthanized when the place fills up.

We are very fortunate in our county that we have a gentleman who has moved here recently, and he has put together a real network of people who are actively trying to get these animals out of the AC. It is working, we pulled Lou.

The vet said that Lou is going on three years old, so he is around two and a half. He will be a big dog, as of now, he weighs 59#, but should really be in the 70# range.

He rides in the car well, and as soon as he has healed from his neuter, he will be temperament evaluated. We already know he is a very quiet, kind and loving dog.

Photo's will come soon.

Apply for Lou at: http://www.greenepets.org/adoption-application.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Smokey, a Greeneville Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Greeneville, or seeking a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Greeneville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greeneville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greeneville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greeneville paves the way for another one to be saved.
