Henry's Story...
Henry Windsor is the distant cousin of the Corgi that lives in Buckingham Palace in London with Queen Elizabeth and was present at the birth of Prince William and Duchess Kate's son, Prince George of Cambridge. No, we can't really back that up with any sort of evidence or royal decree, but we know for sure that he's a cute little guy. Henry was unfortunately left at a shelter by his owners who were no longer able to take care of him. where his cute little wiggle butt and personality got the attention of Hearts of Hope fosters who took him home that day. Henry knows sit and is working on shake and lay down. After he has his family jewels removed and has recuperated, this little king will be ready to take the throne at a forever home. Will your castle be where he greets his adoring subjects? Henry is approximately four years old, house and crate trained. He's good with other dogs and cats. Henry's adoption fee is $200. Please email for an application. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henry, a Grand Rapids Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
