Wigi's Story...
This handsome guy is a 3 year old American Stafford Terrier who is a social butterfly and wants to introduce himself to everyone he meets. He loves going for walks but his favorite past time is to snuggle on the couch and give kisses. Wigi would thrive in a stable environment where he is part of the family...he comes to Revolution Rescue as a victim of a divorce where he lived with 4 children and another dog. He was introduced (on a lead) to a cat and seemed to be fine, but we aren’t sure what he would have done had it ran! This sixty pound boy loves his treats which have helped him with his training and this will need to continue with his forever family. He knows the sit command and is learning more every day. Wigi is also crate trained and housebroken, fully vetted, neutered, and micro-chipped. If your family is ready for a best friend, daily kisses, and a professional snuggle buddy…Wigi is for you! Once you meet this guy he will totally steal your heart. If interested in meeting him, please fill out an application and someone will be in touch! $175 donation for a lifetime of love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wigi, a Lincoln American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
