MILLICENT-FOSTER NEEDED's Story...
This precious little girl is named Millicent. She is 3 years old and weighs 20 pounds. Such a shy and tiny girl who will warm quickly once she finds you to be kind and embracing of her. She could stand to lose a few pounds and be a more trim 16 pounds. She is a typical Beagle who likes to roam so she will need a fenced yard just to be safe. She loves all the other dogs and gets along well with the cats too. Millicent was given up by her owner after she was picked up by animal control 3 times. So sad that her owner let her roam so much and was unsafe on the roadways as she followed her Beagle nose. She looks very serious and sad in these pictures, but wouldn’t you be if you were at a shelter? Critter Cavalry Rescue is in the midst of taking her out and holding her in a foster home. Would you like to help foster this girl or even adopt her? ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MILLICENT-FOSTER NEEDED, a Salem Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Salem, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
