Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Chuck! This sweet guy has a beautiful coat and loving eyes that will have you at hello. Chuck was originally found roaming the streets of Baton Rouge. Even though he had a collar on, no family ever came looking for him. Chuck spent a while waiting at the shelter for his perfect family to come along, but no one ever took him home. Luckily, his spirits weren't hurt one bit and he is now happier than ever in his foster home! Chuck absolutely loves to meet new people (he doesn't know what the word stranger means) and play with other dogs. In addition to his easy-going personality, Chuck is also very bright! He is already house-, kennel-, and leash-trained and is picking up on his obedience very quickly. This guy promises to be on his best behavior for his forever family!\r\n\r\nAt almost two years old, this guy is full grown at around 50lbs, making him the ideal size for an active family. He has done wonderfully with the other dogs in his foster home and children of all ages at adoption events so siblings, both two- and four-legged would be ideal. Chuck is pretty much past all the puppy-nonsense (aka he is not a big fan of eating shoes or furniture), but is still young enough that he would be the perfect playmate! All he wants is a family to finally call his own. Won't you give this guy a chance?\r\n\r\nDogs in our program are spayed/neutered, microchipping, up to date on vaccinations, and given a physical by a veterinarian prior to adoption.\r\n\r\nChuck is currently in foster care so, if interested, please email us today!
