My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is 4 years old and is a big sweet tall boy -- about 16 pounds and really solidly built. Very handsome and huggable!

He is very attentive and curious about everything, but is often happy to observe from a slight distance.

He is learning to play with toys and is enjoying the outdoors. He is great with children and quite a ladies man. Loves women. Children should be 10 or older.

I think he must have spent a lot of time alone and he will thrive in a home where he gets lots of attention and love. He is also fine with parrots.

We are still working on house training. He's doing much better. Max does come and tell me that he needs to go out. He also dances in his food dish when he's hungry and last week he pulled the water dispenser all the way into the other room to show me that it was empty. He's very helpful that way.
Max will be a wonderful companion for someone that truly has time to spend with him.

Max needs another dog in the home or someone that either works from home or is home most of the day.
