Frankie's story starts on an abandoned road. He was scavenging for food and water. A sweet lady happened to be driving down this road one day. She saw this thin bug infested sick 4 month old baby wondering around. She stopped her car to help him. He was so scared he ran under her car and hid from her. She spent time with him and got him out and took him to a veterinarian. They washed the bugs off of him. Started feeding him and gave him the age appropriate shots he needed. This sweet lady paid for his boarding for a week. In that time she contacted Hearts of Gold Pit Rescue. It just so happened we had an opening at a foster home that takes in puppies come up that same week. Of course they said yes to fostering him. Since he has been in his foster home he has learned alot. He has learned to play with other dogs big and small young and old. He is crate trained and house trained. He loves his toys and loves playing with other dogs. He is also friendly with the house cats. Frankie may have big ears and big feet but he is all Pit at heart. He dosent know he looks a little different than the average Pittie. He is a sweet cuddly silly ball of fun. He is friendly with children and adults. He walks well on the leash. He is up for anything as long as he is included. To adopt fill out an application you can find one at www.heartsofgoldpitrescue.com
