My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SUNNY is a 10 year old spayed yellow female that weighs 67 pounds. She is an absolute doll, pretty and sweet and was a huge hit at the shelter! This honey does not have a mean bone in her body. She's a lovely lab and is looking forward to having a real home! Sunny is approved for kids
ages 10+.

Update (6/11): Sunny is doing great! She is so much better in the car and she even jumped in herself the other day. Sunny is good with cats and loves other dogs. She is so proud of herself when she goes up or down the big stairs. She is so much more relaxed, enjoys cuddling and even had her first dream. We are working on walking on the leash, and we are going to new places like outdoor cafes, petsmart, etc.She is a beautiful girl with so much love to give to her new family.

Update (5/4): Sunny is such a sweet girl! She is great with cats. She pays no attention to the cats and wags her tail at every dog who passes. She quickly and easily became friends with our neighbor's dogs. She spends most of her time lounging on the floor and sleeping. She will not get up on any furniture (I have tried). She is a little shy so I am working on building her trust and confidence. She loves treats and chicken flavored pill pockets for her medicine. Sunny is a very sweet girl that just wants a family that will be patient with her and show her the love and attention she deserves.

Our transporter loved her! She's a good rider and so sweet. Stray to the shelter: She was given up by a breeder to someone irresponsible about 3 years ago; that person just let her run stray.
