Here's what the humans have to say about me:
It's time for Darla to find a forever family of her own!
Darla is about 30-40 pounds, about knee high, and 4 years old now. She initially came to us from a kill shelter with an older pup, and a second litter of pups. Someone contacted us with her story, and we couldn't say no. What a life she must've had, poor girl. Her babies have all gone to their forever homes now. She's a sweet girl who still has a bit of spunk even after her rough in life.
Darla is housebroken, and familiar with a crate. She does well with children, and doesn't mind puppies and other dogs. Her foster mom is working on making her more comfortable with a harness and leash, and has noticed Darla is oves to learn when learning involves treats!
We do not really know what Darla is mixed with. She has a scruffy face, so possibly some type of terrier. Did you get a good look at her eyebrows and beard? We love them!
Do you have room in your heart for a smallish lab mix who is passed all that crazy puppy behavior? Why not give Darla a chance!
