Brittany is the sweetest girl! We rescued her from a high kill shelter after she was dumped there by her owners. She was hit by a car 2 years ago and never received the surgery that she needed so her spine fused together and leaves her with a funny walk. She's in absolutely no pain but she looks like shes dancing when she walks. She loves her people and has the cutest underbite. She would do best in a home as the only pet. She's not even 30 lbs so she's a small framed fox terrier mix. She is the happiest little dog! She is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. She will come with free 30 days pet insurance. If you're interested in adopting her, please email enb313@gmail.com for an application!

About Diamonds in the Ruff Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

"Diamonds in a Ruff Rescue" is a foster-based, all-breed, no-kill animal rescue based in Philadelphia, PA that offers rescue and sanctuary to animals in need. We do not have a physical shelter you can visit - all of our animals are housed in foster homes. We are made up of volunteers and foster homes that care for and socialize our animals. Most of our animals have been rescued from "death row" from high-kill shelters and given a second chance at life. Our goal is to offer each and every one of these animals a safe, permanent and loving home. We also offer people the ability to surrender their dogs to us instead of surrendering their pet to a high-kill shelter if they can no longer take care of them. Please help us to give each of these animals the life they deserve.

Our Adoption Process...

You will be asked to fill out an adoption application giving us information about yourself, your family and your experience with pets. You will need to provide a vet reference and multiple personal references. Our goal is to find our animals the best possible home. Our adoption fee is $375 for dogs under 1 year old and $250 for dogs 1 year and older. The adoption fee includes a wellness exam, all age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing when age appropriate, heartworm treatment if necessary, worming, microchip, 30 days of free pet insurance and phone/email support from our dog trainer and discounted rates on any training scheduled with our dog

**We DO require that ALL dogs and cats in your household are spayed or neutered, kept up-to-date on vaccines and that they are seen annually for a check-up.
**We do NOT require a fenced in yard unless otherwise noted for a specific pet.
**We do NOT SHIP animals. If you are interested in adopting one of our pets and live outside of our area, you will be required to come meet and adopt the animal in person if your application is approved.
**We do NOT adopt to anyone under 25 years old.
**ALL APPLICANTS MUST GO THROUGH OUR ENTIRE ADOPTION APPLICATION PROCESS - WE DO NOT MAKE EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE.
