Barney's Story...
Barney Breed: Golden Retriever Sex: Male Age: 1-1/2 yrs old Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Good with kids: over 12 Weight: 57 lbs Status: Available Barney is stray who was not claimed at the pound. He is now has a brighter future ahead of him because of Rosie. Barney is a really nice mild mannered dog - really pretty. He knows how to sit, and he likes to play with balls and bones. He is a fun loving dog and would probably be a really good family dog. He can be crated all day, however he barks and whines for about 5 minutes while settling in. He is clean in the house, but needs some training to stay off furniture. Please fill out an application form if you think I could be the one for you!

This organization is run entirely by volunteers and we try our best to save as many homeless dogs as possible. Since there are only a few volunteers, please understand that we are unable to answer phone calls about the animals. The first step is to fill out an adoption application which you can find at: . You will be contacted only if you are a suitable match. Rosie Animal Adoption does not have a shelter where you can come and meet the dogs. All showings are by appointment after your application has been approved, or at adoption clinics. If you have any questions, please email us at . Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barney, a Kirkland Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Kirkland, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Kirkland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kirkland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kirkland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kirkland paves the way for another one to be saved.
