Tory's Story...
Name: Tory Sex: Female Breed: Lab-x Age: 2 yrs old Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Yes Good with kids: over 12 as she was a stray Hi! I'm a big girl who loves to play ball and frisbee with my foster parents. They say that I am the perfect dog! I am clean in the house, very gentle and obedient. I don't know many of the basic commands but I learn really fast and I walk pretty good on leash. I love everyone and I love to play with the dog I live with presently. There's also two cats and I just sniff them, I don't run after them, they're not very fun! I'd be very happy with a family who would take me for walks and play with me. If you think you can give me a good home, please come to meet me!!!

This organization is run entirely by volunteers and we try our best to save as many homeless dogs as possible. Since there are only a few volunteers, please understand that we are unable to answer phone calls about the animals. The first step is to fill out an adoption application which you can find at: . You will be contacted only if you are a suitable match. Rosie Animal Adoption does not have a shelter where you can come and meet the dogs. All showings are by appointment after your application has been approved, or at adoption clinics. If you have any questions, please email us at . Please note, we do not adopt strays to families with children under 12.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tory, a Kirkland Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Kirkland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Kirkland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kirkland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kirkland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kirkland paves the way for another one to be saved.
