My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My new pet name is Marigold. Do you think my nickname should be Mari or Goldie? I'm a pretty golden color, so I'm thinking Goldy.

I was trying to run really fast at the track and broke my leg. I'm having surgery next week to fix it. Meanwhile, I'm hanging out with several other greyhounds. We rest of soft beds and are hand fed sausage and cottage cheese. If I had know pet life was like this, I might have broken my leg a little sooner!

Anyway, I'm really excited about getting my leg fixed and finding a forever home. I think I'll be great pet, so you should take a chance on me.

Marigold is 3. She appears to do fine with small dogs and cats.

FOSTER UPDATE:

Marigold is a sweet 3 year old, who is a bit reserved with people, but this may change a bit after she heals some more and has the chance for more activity.

She was housebroken from day 1 and whines a little when she needs to go out.She still is a bit picky about food, but this may change also after she is off meds. What she seems to really like most are treats, boiled hamburger and chicken breast with her kibble.

She has had interaction with the cat and is absolutely fine with him as well as a small dog she encountered outside our house. She still needs to learn about toys and has shown just a little interest in them so far. Marigold is a little spooked by the wind, which there has been a lot of lately. Marigold seems to be fine with men, but has had no interaction with children yet to see how she does with them.
