Beau's Story...

Beau, a Yellow Lab/Husky mix with an estimated DOB of 12/2013, was f ound as a stray and c ame to FOPAS scared to death, literally shaking and afraid to let go of those who had found him.   Beau is now in a foster home and is a happy dog.  Look at him smile!  He is loving every minute being a dog!  Beau loves to play and he plays with both large and small dogs and, we believe, he doesn’t even mind the cat.  Labradors are smart dogs, eager to please and attentive to humans.  They love interaction with their people and thrive on being part of a family.   Beau appears to be housebroken

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beau, a Parkville Labrador Retriever/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Husky for sale in Parkville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Husky dog from a breeder in Parkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Husky breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
