My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

To start the adoption process, please fill out our form on our web site at: www.spokanewienerdogs.org and see the Adopt a Dog/Fee page with more details on how we adopt our dogs. Please read. There are a lot of questions answered on our site and personality details below about each dog listed again only if folks read.

If the dogs are listed here then yes they are still available for adoption, They will stay listed until we find them the right homes with our adoption paperwork all finished. Thanks. Those marked pending home by their names are on a test drive in their new homes so see if they work out. Once they past their test drive only then we do mark them as adopted.

Please indicate which dog you are interested in on our pre-adoption form on the site above. You can also read about our adoption process, our requirements needed to adopt a hunting dog breed from us and our paperwork needed to adopt from our rescue. This is a short adoption process but please read first. Thanks so much.

There is an adoption fee of $200 for this dog. No phone calls or emails please. Please see our web site for more details om how we adopt BEFORE emailing.

Pippen is in rescue through no fault of his own. He is about 4 - 5 years old, weighs 14 pounds so still fits on a lap nicely and likes people and dogs. He is not a large dog, quite smaller but with longer legs than a Dachshund.

Pippen will dig out if left in a yard alone. He is way too smart to be left in the yard without supervision. He also does not do cats or chickens.

This dog is brain surgeon smart and just a delight. He came in a past abuse case but with a lot of socializing he has turned into a delightful charm bug who loves playing with balls and having a grand old time. He gets along with every dog here.

This is an amazingly nice dog but would do well in an adult home so no one forgets to leave him outside alone.

It does not hurt my feelings he is not being adopted. He is that charming and fun.

To start our adoption process read on the top of this description.
