My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE INFORMATION BELOW!

This is Sansa, a miniature pincher estimated to be just over 1 year old. Sansa was rescued as a pregnant mom from a shelter in Los Angeles. Shortly after her rescued, she delivered her puppies and has been a super mom. Her puppies are now weaned and its time for Sansa to have a chance to be a puppy herself. She is a super sweet girl that loves attention! Being a young dog, she has lots of energy and would love a yard to run around or someone active who can bring her on nice long walks. She is working on her leash manners and can be a little barky like many small dogs. She is great with the other foster dogs in her home (just likes to steal everyone's bones!). She loves the teenage girl in her foster home!

We currently adopt in the states of CA, NY, NJ, PA, DE, and MD. We can not accept applications from other states at this time.

If you are interested in meeting this dog, please fill out our adoption application which you can find on our website at www.dutchcountryanimalrescue.org/adopt.html

Our adoption fees are on our application.

All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on rabies and DHPP, heartworm tested, treated for worms and fleas and most are microchipped.

We are not a shelter, we are 100% volunteer public charity. All of our dogs are in foster homes until they are adopted. Since we are not a shelter, we do not receive government funding. We are a public charity that relies solely on funds through our adoption fee, fundraisers, and private donations. Since we are 100% volunteer based, all funds collected go directly towards the rescue and vet costs of our dogs.

We take each rescue personally and spend a lot of effort trying to match the right dog to the right family. Thank you for considering one of our rescued dogs.
