My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful sweet precious little girl lived her whole short life on the streets of Memphis with a pack of dogs. We were lucky enough to catch her but not her brother. As you can imagine, it has taken Remi a good while to trust humans, she runs away from them because no one has ever shown her kindness or affection. we have had Remi now for about 2 months. She will now let us pick her up, hold her, pet her, she will sit in your lap for hours and let you pet her. She is playful and she LOVES treats. She will go outside to potty and when it's time to go into her kennel she runs in and stays there because she knows what's coming next. She is perfect in her kennel and loves to go outside and play with her best friend Josie the min pin. Remi is still adjusting to domestic life. She will need to go to a home with at least one other dog and a fenced yard is a must for her. She could play outside on a nice day for hours if you let her. Remi's adoption fee is 450.00 which includes her transport and she has been vaccinated and dewormed, first month of heart worm preventative and flea and tick topical.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions, https://alphadogtransport.com/‎ and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters. The adoption fee includes the transport fee.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

For an adoption application on this, or any of our available pets, please send a request to bluescityanimalrescue15@gmail.com.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
