My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Samuel L. Catsun or simply Sweet Sam was found in the Sam’s Club parking lot. He’d been hit by a car. Our volunteer put him in her car and brought him to us so we could get him medical treatment. He had road rash down both sides of his body, but thankfully no broken bones, or internal injuries. Despite his painful injuries, Sam was a purr machine. Every time you touched him, his purr motor would engage. He loves to sit in his foster mom's lap, wrap his paw around her neck like a baby, and offer his nose for kisses. Sam is one of the sweetest cats there is. Sam has long since completely healed from his injuries. On each side where the injuries were most severe, his fur has grown back with a small white patch to mark the spot. Despite Sam’s sweet loving disposition, he has fallen victim to Black Animal Syndrome. Black animals are passed over for lighter colored animals. Although Sweet Sam is quite content in his foster home, he would love to get a furrr-ever home of his own, with humans of his own to love him.

Sam is neutered, FIV/FeLv negative, up to date of his vaccines. Sam requires a grain-free diet. He is in a foster home with other cats and a small dog. He gets along well with them all. Sam has never been around children but would probably enjoy small hands as long as they were gentle and not pulling his fur or tail.

Special Need: Special Diet-Grain Free
