My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Boots, a 2-year old Tuxedo boy who is wonderful with other cats—and with a temperament so mild he may just be a fan of dogs too! Indoor only, Boots does enjoy being on a patio or protected deck if you have one to offer…

He is a perfect gentleman when it comes to his litter box. In fact, his house manners are impeccable. No accidents, knows to stay out of certain areas or rooms (like the kitchen in his last home), does not climb curtains or furniture and even understands commands like “off” and “no.” Atta boy!

Boots likes being a lap cat, and loves human contact. He’ll gently rub his head into your chin (especially men with beards!) and will only meow when he wants your attention. You may also notice his tail vibrate when he wants your affection. Love alert!

Boots likes chasing bugs and insects—so you’re in luck this summer with this hunter! He has great energy and loves to interact with people. While he may be shy with strangers initially, he’s super playful and curious especially with anything that moves.

His favorite toys include other cats(!), string toys with feathers, and anything moving under the blanket. Plus, cat house climbers & cat scratchers.

Boots has been known to follow his favorite person around the house, and will come running when you call him “Boots” or “chunky.” He’ll sit on you if he can (lol) and is always a sucker for a dry treat or catnip.

Have a space for Boots to run and play? Hopefully with another furry friend? He’s your boy!
