Brindle's Story...
Brindle is a sweet 2-3 year old Chihuahua mix with a beautiful brindle coat. It is not known if she likes kids or cats, but it is thought that she would be fine with both. She will tolerate both large and small dogs, however her foster mom feels she would be the happiest and most calm if she was the only dog in the house so she can be the center of attention. She is very loving and likes to snuggle. She is currently being crate trained, as well as completing her potty training. We are not entirely sure of her history, but it does appear as though she's have a litter or two in the past. She does not have very much interested in toys, but is more interested in being with her human. She will be your shadow. She is up-to-date on her vaccines and has been spayed. She will be microchipped shortly. Her adoption fee is $200. Please email rescueofhope@gmail.com for an application. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brindle, a Grand Rapids Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
