My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES XANDER INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!

Xander is an ultra sweet boy who gives kisses freely and wants to be loved. It is evident that someone has been rough with Xander and he's hand shy, as though someone had struck him. Why we can't even imagine that this super kid would be deserving of ill treatment.

Xander is a loving dog, he is great with other dogs both males and females. He is NOT cat friendly though.

Xander is wonderful with kids (see the video).

We've worked with Xander on some basic house manners and he will crate fine, he is very good in the house, he is not destructive, this is an easy dog from our perspective. He rides great in the car but is hesitant about getting in at first, we think he was dumped off somewhere and his last memory of his owner was getting in the car, so that was not a positive experience.

This is a Great dog! We at IDGSR absolutely adore this boy. He looks into your eyes and face for loving reassurance. Someone is going to be very lucky indeed.

If you would like to make Xander a member of your family, please apply with this rescue by copying and pasting the link below.
