Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Franklin has had a rough time of it. He was taken into a local high kill shelter, along with his bonded mate, Eleanor, when his owner became disabled and unable to care for them. Upon initial Vet check, his mate Eleanor was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer. He was very devoted to her, doting on her, giving her his bed and food. He was with her until she died. He has gone through a time of mourning. With the help and love of his foster mom, he is now ready to find his forever home.
Franklin has a very loving personality. He never meets a stranger. He is just one of those cats that you never forget. He is FIV/FeLv negative, up to date on vaccinations, neutered-He is great with most other cats, although will sometimes challenge other males for dominance-Franklin has been in foster care with a small dog (12 lb maltese/yorkie mix) and has had no issues. It is unknown what his response will be to larger dogs. As with any other animal, Franklin would be great with respectful children.
